Mcguffins Collected: 2/4

So, as you guys know- our second LP was revealed to be Fallout: New Vegas. However, it could of been a very different story. As luck would have it, depending on what you think about Fallout, the recording we had attempted for our second LP was Darksiders on the PC. A game that Rick had completed, and at the time of writing so had Devyn. We may still do it, we were starting to get into it- but we felt Fallout was a better choice for us to improve our LPing prowess. However, I just wanted to write about why we wanted to do Fallout over Darksiders. Free will. Nick has a pretty powerful preference for RPG's free roaming and story, he didn't feel Darksiders had it. He just complained a lot, and it didn't really make for interesting commentary. Another point, that Nick & Devyn had sort of came to outside of the recording room, it's one long fetch quest. That isn't a bad thing in itself, but both Nick and Jordan had expected a lot more than what was promised, don't get us wrong it's a pretty fun game- but watching it? Maybe not.
